Signora Solare: A Vintage Oasis in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Nestled in the heart of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Signora Solare stands as a testament to the enduring charm of vintage fashion. Owned by Audra Unruh, this boutique has become a beloved destination for those seeking unique and timeless pieces that tell a story.
Audra Unruh, a passionate advocate for sustainable fashion, opened Signora Solare with a vision to create a space where women could express their individuality through vintage clothing. Being an advocate for sustainable fashion, Audra believes in the stories second hand clothes can tell, as well as giving old pieces new life. "I think we should all buy vintage. That's how you can find some of the best pieces."
The boutique is located at back entrance of 9 S Block, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Inside, shoppers are greeted by an eclectic mix of carefully curated vintage finds spanning decades. From bohemian dresses of the 1970s to elegant blouses from the 1950s, and also some cool, funky accessories like these sunglasses, the boutique offers a diverse array of styles that cater to various tastes. The interior is adorned with vintage decorations, enhancing the nostalgic atmosphere that envelops visitors as they browse.

"I think we should all buy vintage..."
One of the standout features of Signora Solare is Audra's commitment to sustainability. In an age where fast fashion dominates the market, her boutique champions eco-conscious shopping. Afterall, she basically started this store from her own closet. "Most of what you see here are things that came out of my closet," she laughs. "It's definitley giving girlie pop," and she's not wrong. This store was designed for women and to help empower individual expression through style, which is why she offers "The Sunny Lady Club." The Sunny Lady Club gives you perks like discounts and first access to new arrivals, but the best part about it is that once a month, she offers up her store as a third place to gather, and there is free champagne.

Audra’s connection with her customers goes beyond transactions; it is a collaborative experience. She likes to work on projects and get involved with members of the community. From allowing creators to book her space for photoshoots to hosting full-on fashino shows to showcase the clothes, Audra has focused her brand on being an active member of the community.
As influencers and fashion-forward individuals turn to social media for inspiration, Signora Solare has cultivated its own online presence that showcases its unique offerings. Audra engages with her audience through social media platforms, sharing style tips and highlighting new arrivals, keeping the spirit of the boutique alive beyond its physical location.
With its dedication to sustainability, community engagement, and timeless fashion, Signora Solare remains a cherished gem in Fayetteville. As Audra Unruh continues to garner support for her vision, the boutique not only preserves the beauty of vintage clothing but also champions a more mindful way of approaching fashion in today’s world.
Bites, Brews, and Burgers @ Uptown Kitchen
Uptown Kitchen + Taphouse in Rogers is going to be one of my favorite spots to visit this summer, and if you like beer, it might become one of your favorites too. Immediatley upon walking into Uptown, you can't help but notice the behemouth of a bar they have. They're sure to have your favorite beer on tap, whether you like one of the many local beers around here, or you're a wild child that loves to try various craft beers, there's plenty to choose from.
Can't forget the food!
Outside of having a great selection of beer, the food is pretty good too! I've not tried much just yet, but I did try the fried chicken sandwich with fries and all I can say is that I will be reordering in the future.

I asked my waitress what's a popular item on the menu, and she immediatley said the canitas queso. She did not lie... AT ALL. If you like queso, and I'm going to assume most of us do, you should go give this a try this summer. I also recommend sitting on the patio on a nicer day.
Refreshing Summer Berry Spritzer

Ingredients:
-
1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
-
4 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

-
Prepare the Berries: Rinse the mixed berries under cold water. If using strawberries, slice them into smaller pieces.
-
Make the Berry Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the mixed berries, lime juice, and honey (or simple syrup). Gently mash the berries with a fork to release some juices, but keep some whole for texture. Allow this mixture to sit for about 10 minutes.

Combine: In a large pitcher, add the berry mixture and pour in the sparkling water or lemon-lime soda. Stir gently to combine.
-
Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the spritzer over the ice.
-
Garnish: Add fresh mint leaves to each glass for a refreshing aroma and presentation.
This drink is perfect for summer parties, offering a balance of sweetness and citrus that will keep your guests refreshed. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference, and consider adding a splash of your favorite spirit for an adult version. Enjoy!
